About the Role

As a Verification Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to verify the employment and educational background of applicants applying for jobs with our clients in the US. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of the hiring process and ensuring that only qualified candidates are onboarded by our clients.


Key Responsibilities for Verification Specialist

  1. Verification Tasks:
    • Conduct background checks on applicants by verifying employment and educational details.
    • Search the web to locate relevant listings for universities, colleges, and companies.
    • Initiate verification calls to institutions and previous employers to authenticate applicant credentials.
    • Send written verification requests and faxes as per institutional and organizational policies.
  2. Data Management:
    • Accurately input verified data into the system.
    • Generate comprehensive and accurate reports based on the verification process.
    • Update databases with any changes or new information as required.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Adhere to established quality guidelines and meet targets set by the Team Leader.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Provide feedback and mentor new joiners to maintain high-quality standards.
  4. Compliance:
    • Follow IT policies and data security guidelines rigorously.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive applicant data responsibly.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline the verification process.
    • Share necessary updates and best practices to enhance team performance.

Qualifications and Skills: Verification Specialist

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Minimum HSC qualification is mandatory.
    • Graduate freshers with excellent language and comprehension skills will be considered.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6 months of experience in an International BPO/KPO is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
    • Proficiency in using web-based tools for research and verification.
