Key Responsibilities for Overseas Education Counselor
1. Student Guidance and Support:
- Provide personalized counseling to students to help them identify their dream universities and programs.
- Offer guidance on scholarships, assistantships (RA/TA), and other funding opportunities.
- Assist students with building a strong profile and navigating financial planning for their education.
- Educate students on visa processes and requirements for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.
2. Application and Documentation Assistance:
- Help students compile and organize required documents for university applications.
- Provide support with Statement of Purpose (SOP) analysis and improvements.
- Assist students with Letters of Recommendation (LORs) and resume editing.
- Guide students through the preparation of financial documentation.
3. Visa Application and Interview Preparation:
- Help students complete visa applications and ensure all necessary documents are in order.
- Provide coaching and preparation for visa interviews to improve students’ chances of success.
4. Student Experience Management:
- Collaborate with universities and internal teams to ensure a smooth application process.
- Address student concerns promptly and ensure they receive timely updates.
- Use digital tools and technology to provide real-time, high-quality counseling services.
5. Follow-Up and Continuous Improvement:
- Establish rigorous follow-up mechanisms with students and universities to track progress.

Overseas Education Counselor Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in counseling, psychology, or a related field).
- 1+ years of experience in overseas education counseling.
- Familiarity with admissions processes for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.
