Key Responsibilities as Social Media Evaluator
- Fact-check social media posts: Compare claims in posts with verified sources to determine their accuracy.
- Monitor trending content: Use trending maps to track popular topics.
- Identify frequent sources of misinformation: Keep track of users or accounts that consistently share false information.
- Verify content from reliable sources: Double-check facts using multiple methods and sources.
Criteria for Post Verification:
- Posts should be from social media and posted within the last 7 to 14 days.
- The content should be potentially misleading (beyond minor mistakes).
- The post should have at least 15 shares or comments (or 100 views for videos).
- It should be factual and not an opinion, joke, or corporate dispute.
Submission Requirements: Social Media Evaluator
- Ensure the post is free from fabricated information or missing details.
- Confirm it’s recent and meets the engagement threshold.
- Provide a link to the post and fact-checking sources.
- Summarize the post and how you verified it.
Qualifications:
- Located in India.
- Fluent in Hindi and proficient in English.
- Must provide a valid social media profile.
- Hold an educational degree.
Compensation:
- $2 per hour, project-based.
