Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Phonetic Audio Transcriber proficient in Hindi to join our team. As a Phonetic Transcriber, your primary role will involve listening to audio recordings in Hindi and transcribing them into text, while accurately representing the phonetic sounds and nuances of the language. This position is ideal for individuals with strong language skills and a keen ear for phonetic details.

Key Responsibilities as Audio Transcriber

• Listen to audio recordings in Hindi and accurately transcribe them into written text using phonetic transcription methods.
• Ensure the transcription represents the pronunciation, tone, and phonetic details of the audio accurately.
• Follow specific transcription guidelines and formats as provided by the project.
• Review and edit transcripts for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in transcription across projects.
• Meet assigned deadlines and manage time effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Hindi, with a strong understanding of regional dialects and accents.
• Excellent listening skills and attention to phonetic details.
• Familiarity with phonetic transcription systems such as IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) or similar tools.
• Previous experience in transcription (phonetic transcription experience is a plus).
• Proficient in using transcription software and tools.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in linguistics or phonetics.
• Experience with audio editing software.
• Familiarity with various Hindi accents and dialects across regions.
