Job Overview:

Uplers is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating qualified appointments, managing client communication, and supporting the sales team with lead generation and opportunity qualification. This role requires an individual with excellent communication skills, experience in client interaction, and a proactive approach to sales activities.


Key Responsibilities as Business Development Representative

  • Generate 8 to 10 qualified appointments per month.
  • Assist the sales team by maintaining relevant communication with clients to close deals.
  • Understand the company’s ideal customer profile and craft responses to address prospect challenges.
  • Identify and approach key decision-makers and influencers in target companies.
  • Send 30-40 personalized emails to decision-makers and influencers.
  • Make 30-40 warm/cold calls to qualify leads and prospects.
  • Create and manage an email template library for outreach campaigns.
  • Utilize LinkedIn to send connection requests and InMails to prospects to improve the chances of success.
  • Use the company’s CRM tool to track all activities and manage leads.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of digital marketing and industry trends.

Required Skills: Business Development Representative

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in the staffing industry, tech outsourcing, digital marketing agencies, SaaS, product companies, or as a fresher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Commerce, or a Management-related field from a reputed institute.
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management.
  • Proven success in qualifying opportunities with multiple key decision-makers.
  • Strong problem-solving, objection-handling, and customer engagement skills.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and energy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM tools and maintaining records.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Basic math and calculation skills.
