Job Overview

The Junior Recruiter is essential to our talent acquisition process, serving as a primary contact for candidates and working to fulfill the organization’s hiring needs. This role offers valuable experience in recruitment, from sourcing candidates to scheduling interviews, and provides opportunities for growth in human resources.

Key Responsibilities as Junior Recruiter

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards and social media.
  • Review resumes and applications, conducting initial screenings to assess qualifications.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and updated records.
  • Build relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from hiring managers to improve the hiring process.
  • Participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus hiring initiatives.
  • Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Report on recruitment metrics and track progress.
  • Collaborate with HR on employee retention strategies.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.

Qualifications: Junior Recruiter

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Experience with social media recruitment is a plus.
