As we continue to grow, we seek a proactive and passionate Junior Social Media Manager to help manage and elevate our social media presence.

Key Responsibilities as Junior Social Media Manager

1. Social Media Management: Manage daily social media activities across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) by creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content.
2. Industry Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, news, and controversies within the Indian and global esports scenes. Identify relevant industry news and drama that resonates with our audience and create timely posts around them.
3. SEO & Optimization: Understand SEO principles to optimize social media content for search visibility and growth. Research and implement keywords, hashtags, and trending topics to increase engagement and reach.
4. Content Strategy: Assist in developing a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with our overall brand and content goals. Brainstorm new ideas for engagement and user interaction, including polls, live streams, and discussions.
5. Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, etc. Provide regular performance reports and use insights to improve future content strategies.
6. Community Engagement: Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Build strong relationships with followers and esports fans to foster loyalty and interaction.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the content creation, video production, and design teams to ensure social media content is aligned with brand visuals and messaging.
8. Trendspotting: Monitor and identify viral trends, challenges, and memes in the esports community and leverage them to create relatable and sharable content.

Requirements of Junior Social Media Manager

• 1-2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the esports, gaming, or entertainment industry.
• Solid understanding of SEO and social media optimization strategies.
• Passion for the esports industry and deep familiarity with esports culture in India and globally.
• Strong research skills with an ability to stay on top of news, updates, and industry drama.
• Proficient in using social media tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Creativity in developing engaging content and campaigns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle tight deadlines.

Bonus for Junior Social Media Manager

• Knowledge of popular esports titles like Valorant, BGMI, CS, Dota 2, etc.
• Experience with video editing, graphic design, or content creation for social media.
• Familiarity with influencer marketing and collaboration.
