Position Overview

We are looking for an Associate, Fund Administration (Core IS) to join our growing Investor Services team. This team plays a crucial role in supporting fund administration and deal services for our clients. As an Associate, you will act as a trusted partner to private equity firms and their investors, performing a wide range of operational and administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.

Job Description: Fund Administration

Key Responsibilities as Fund Administration

  • Fund Administration & Investor Services: Assist private equity customers in managing their investor data, fund operations, and compliance requirements.
  • Software Utilization: Use Juniper Square’s proprietary software to support fund administration and investor services.
  • Investor Position Management: Perform workspace management tasks such as investor position creation, data entry, and reviewing financial records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Fundraising Support: Assist clients during fundraising by articulating the value of Juniper Square’s software and ensuring smooth investor onboarding.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Monitor customer health, address inquiries, and escalate critical issues to internal teams when necessary.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all fund administration tasks comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Payment Processing & Treasury Management: Manage financial transactions such as logging Limited Partner (LP) contributions and processing payments.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest operational enhancements, automation opportunities, and best practices for improving efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to provide feedback and enhance customer experience.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records, generate reports, and document key fund administration processes for future reference.

Qualifications & Skills: Fund Administration

  • Experience: 0-2 years in fund administration, investor services, or a related financial services role.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
