Position Overview
Aircall is seeking a Porting Specialist to join its international Porting team, responsible for the transfer, purchasing, and management of phone numbers across multiple regions. This role involves coordinating with carriers, troubleshooting, and maintaining clear communication with customers throughout the porting process.
Key Responsibilities as Porting Specialist
- Coordination: Collaborate with carriers and service providers to manage number transfers and purchases across various countries.
- Documentation: Complete and submit paperwork for porting, regulatory updates, and number management.
- Troubleshooting: Address issues in the porting process, such as account discrepancies.
- Customer Communication: Provide updates to clients on porting status, answer questions, and clarify requirements.
- Product Support: Assist new customers with basic setup and answer product-related inquiries.
Qualifications: Porting Specialist
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong commitment to supporting clients and promptly addressing inquiries (customer support experience is a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing documentation and data.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve porting-related issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple requests under tight deadlines.
