Job Overview: The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to transformative lifelong learning. This team shapes public conversations around the future of education and work and is divided into four main areas: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications.
As an Enrollment Counselor, you will be part of the Enrollment Team, supporting recruitment cycles and enrollment goals for university degrees hosted on Coursera’s platform. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate with English-speaking prospective students across local and international markets via phone, email, chat, and other channels to facilitate their enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities: Enrollment Counselor
- Lead Engagement & Qualification:
- Identify and engage potential learners through multiple channels.
- Assess the needs and interests of prospective students to determine the best-fit program.
- Counseling & Information Delivery:
- Provide comprehensive information about course curricula, faculty, career outcomes, tuition fees, and payment options via phone calls, emails, and online chats.
- Guide students on application requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
- Sales Conversion & Enrollment Support:
- Address concerns, highlight program benefits, and assist potential learners in making informed decisions.
- Meet or exceed enrollment targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- CRM & Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, track lead progress, and update details in the CRM system.
- Generate reports on enrollment trends and contribute insights for process improvement.
- Target Achievement & Performance Monitoring:
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment targets related to revenue and student acquisition.
- Adapt sales strategies based on performance analysis and market insights.
- Relationship Building & Student Engagement:
- Build strong rapport with prospective students and provide personalized guidance.
- Follow up with students at different stages of the enrollment journey to ensure they stay engaged.
Basic Qualifications: Enrollment Counselor
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
- Strong sales acumen and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Understanding of the EdTech industry and online learning trends.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data management.
