Roles and Responsibilities for Remote Audio Collection Participant:

1. Prompt Recording:
   • Record 200 prompts related to shopping using the provided TIAI mobile app.
   • Ensure that prompts are read clearly, naturally, and exactly as written, simulating interactions with a voice assistant.
2. Task Adherence:
   • Follow the provided script 100% without any deviations or changes to the text.
   • Maintain a consistent tone and clear enunciation throughout the recording process.
3. Session Completion:
   • Complete the remote session within the allotted 2-hour time frame.
   • Ensure that all prompts are recorded in one continuous session as required.
4. Audio Quality Control:
   • Ensure that the recordings are free from background noise, distortions, or disruptions to maintain high-quality audio data.
   • Review recordings for clarity before submission.
5. Compliance with Guidelines:
   • Adhere strictly to all project requirements and guidelines to meet the expectations of TELUS International AI.
   • Submit recordings on time as per the project deadlines.
6. Confidentiality:
   • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all data handled during the task.
7. Continuous Participation:
   • After successful completion and approval of the recordings, participate in future rounds if invited (up to 7 rounds in 2024).
8. Technical Setup and Troubleshooting:
   • Use the TIAI mobile app and ensure proper functionality of the app and recording device before starting the task.
   • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to recording or submission, ensuring smooth task completion.

Task Summary:

Participants will record 200 shopping-related prompts using the TELUS International AI (TIAI) mobile app in a remote session from home. Prompts must be read out loud clearly and naturally, following a provided script, as though interacting with a voice assistant.

Participants who complete the task on time and meet the project’s standards may be invited to participate in up to 7 more rounds throughout 2024.

Task Duration:
Approximately 2 hours per month.
